A long video, but a really good video. I would like to listen to it again because it is packed with so much information. I like his humorous delivery style too.

You're right, it's a long video, but Mark Shepard is quickly becoming my favorite Permaculture speaker. I appreciate how pragmatic his approach is. He would make a good stand-up comedian, I don't think you can say the same thing about other PC luminaries. He also seems to know *exactly* what he's going to say, and he says it directly. Restoration Agriculture just topped my list of permaculture books to find.

You definitely don't have to wonder what he is thinking! haha. I do like his approach to things and that he has a logical explanation as to why. It drives me nuts when people say it is ___ way "just because" and without any logic or reasoning. His points are well grounded and come from a ton of experience and learning opportunities (which some would call mistakes).

Sorry about digging up this old post but I just found out there is a DVD from Mark Shepard. Is that the same video? What's on the DVD? It's available on Amazon but I can't find any reviews anywhere.

I heard an upcoming video mentioned in a podcast or YouTube clip, but didn't know it was out. Supposedly a video tour of the farm showing the things he tried to explain in the book--for the visual people that have to SEE it to get it. But not sure what else is on it, or if it is even that!

Has anyone watched the DVD? The book left me hungry for more details, so I am wondering if the DVD goes a bit deeper.
