Here’s documented story in pictures from playful training to successful hunt, as we all know every successful hunt begins with a proper nap,
here my cat is sleeping and waking up from my backpack.

For many years I thought a cat needed to kill a mouse in order to rid a home of them, but that does not seem to be the case.

Having a large Victorian home, we had a terrible issue with mice when we first got here. I got tired of the traps thing, so we went to the Humane Society and adopted a six year old cat. She is the absolute best, and perfect in every way, except she does not hunt mice very well.

But it turns out, it does not matter. Just smelling that a cat is in the house is enough to keep the mice at bay. We have had her for a year now and have yet to see a mouse since she arrived. That is a drastic improvement over when we first got here.

But we love her. She is more dog like then a cat, greeting us when we get home, sleeping with us, and other calm, but playful antics.

Awesome looking kitten though, and by all means, nothing wrong with letting them hunt. The kitten seems like a perfect match for you and it.
