My boyfriend and I are looking for a possible partner(s) in land sharing. We are looking for a rural land with a combination of pasture and forest with water, preferably a spring. We would like to build a sustainable permaculture-based animal-friendly homestead with natural buildings. We are currently looking in multiple states, such as Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, but also Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, or Washington. We'd like to keep it simple so we're looking for a couple or one or two separate partners. We would need a minimum of 10 acres but would like to have a possibility of getting 20-50 acres. We have about $50K available for the land so we are looking to increase the capital 2-3 times and have enough room for a comfortable secure living for our small group that would hopefully benefit the environment and other communities around us by improving the land and providing natural education, food, and medicine. I am looking into quitting my professional live and working from home teaching forensic science online but also hoping to complete a permaculture design course and using the homestead as an educational site for future courses. My boyfriend is very handy with farm and construction work and is looking into getting certified in masonry heater building. We are peace living anarchists and would like to partner up with like minded people.
