I've walked Taranaki Farm with Ben.
The woodland grown pigs were magnificent, his
cattle are holistically managed and there are both broiler and layer
chickens on the go.
His
water harvesting and storage is great (Darren Doherty was involved in at least part of that).
I was impressed with his interns (Alex and Emily, since moved on).
Taranaki is as close to Polyface as I can imagine. About all that's missing is farmed
rabbits (a scourge in Australia) and turkeys, but he is raising ducks, and a couple of great kids.
Ben's commitment to spreading the word about regenerative agriculture is epic.
