We had all four floaty chairs in action, but now they are all down. It seems that people didn't like them that much for an all-day classroom thing. But the new chair is the most coveted chair.

The turtle is next to the path in the turtle lot.

The popcorn is a big hit.

I stuck a label on the swing at the caldera and labels on all 12 of the popcorn flavor shakers,

This year, Bill provided two more gift cards.

Card 1 is for $750 and says:

To be used to:

* punish your foes
* reward your lackeys
* build epic shit
* do epic shit
* talk about epic shit

And another for $250 that says:

To be used for:

* kittens and puppies
* pie
* pie accessories
* other silly things

must not be used on anything practical

At the top of the list on amazon is that i need a new monitor.  So that is now ordered and I have about $300 left on the first card.

Anybody have suggestions on what I should get next?

    This took eleven and a half months, but it is now done.

    I think that I have been involved in no less than a dozen discussions about this.  And in the last few days ....  I really liked the turtle/tortoise art that we got on one of the previous runs.   So I went in and did a collection of searches for "outdoor scuplture" (and variations).   Jocelyn pointed out that there are some feral cats circling our house, complete with some feral kittens.   She felt that they could be very thirsty, especially in the winter.  So she wanted to add a heated water dish.

    We need a coat hook in willowonka, and Erica's artwork features a rabbit ...

    I saw one of these in action once and found it rather mesmerizing.   I thought it would be funny to place it someplace where it really didn't belong.  And then that spot could be "whirlygig meadow" or something like that.

    THANK YOU BILL!!!

    Here are cat prints in the slushy snow going toward the heated water dish under a table on the decking next to the library. I'm not sure if the cat is hunting the birds that have been finding the dish, or drinking from it.  :-)

    (Here's the picture of one of the cats hunting on our hugel berms at base camp.)

    We can walk to school together. And we can both read this tiny ad:
