Six years have passed. I think I have pointed to "
breakfast with spiderman" about twice a month over all these years. The
gapper program has been replaced with the
bootcamp, and I tend to work while the boots are laughing in the other room. The group seems very happy. I feel like something really excellent has been created.
Dez took us all out to lunch a couple of weeks ago. He said that the boots live a life of abundance rather than a life of scarcity. He talked about many years before bootcamp how the framework was that you have to watch your finances carefully and mistakes could lead to great discomfort. I'm paraphrasing, so I might be getting this wrong - but I like what he is suggesting. Boots are perpetually generous to each other. It does seem like a different way of doing stuff.
And, I try to check myself - there are times when somebody asks me a questions about something and I think folks will be happier with a shorter
answer.
Here is an example of the bootcamp at work
And here is a
video josiah made about a day in the bootcamp
The current recipe is working wonderfully.
I think that the whole "breakfast with spiderman" thing has been proven to be wise.
Anybody know if I ever pushed this into a podcast?
