Hi Lynne and welcome to permies!

I'm defiantly not the techie around here but you can play with your profile by clicking on the "My profile" selector at the top of the page under the banner add. It's in the bottom left right below "search"

Hi, Lynne, welcome to permies! I don't know what NAI stands for?

It's great to have more folks here from the Ozarks.

If you haven't found it yet here is a great thread for helping to find your way around permies Universal Welcome
and even more in this thread How permies.com works...links to useful threads

Judith, I'm taking it that Lynne is North American Indian with a mix. That's what my Blackfeet Warrior Society brothers call themselves as well.

Lynne, Judith has pointed you at the key threads that should answer your questions regarding how to adjust your profile and then a whole lot more stuff. The introductions forum is a good place to drop your curia vitae (who you are and what you know, basically). Someone will generally say "Howdy" back at you and then it is off to drink from the firehose.

Yes Bill,
I have 4 kinds in me.
Yes, sorry about the post. I had to dig around a bit before I found it. Are you in Ar. also?
It is kind of quiet here. Probably where I look though.

There are quite a few folks here at permies who live in Arkansas, Lynne
Try browsing through the Ozarks forum https://permies.com/forums/f-128/ozarks
and also the Southern one https://permies.com/forums/f-33/southern-usa

Do you mean where you live in Arkansas is quiet or this post, I wonder

Yep,
Like I said....it sure is quiet on this site.
I post things and for the most part no one says anything back. It is like things I say don't matter? Maybe they don't.
Gee it feels like I am in my house here. Its like talking to the wall....
So I guess I may just lurk.

Hau, Lynne, Welcome and sorry you are having trouble getting answers.

I have checked your posts, it seems you have mostly posted in introductions? There are many threads to explore and post in, growies, critters, etc. These are where most of the members of permies do their hanging out.

I am Lakota and live in Vilonia, AR.
Usually posts get some answers within a day of posting in most of the threads on this site.
If you post something, just let me know via pm and I'll get you an answer.

Hello Lynne, I live very near The Choctaw capitol here in S.E. Oklahoma. Welcome!

The Choctaws have a huge Labor Day Festival every year.

Hello Lynne,
If your still on the sight, this forum is not a post one minute, get a reply the next minute. I've noticed it will take a week to get a lot of expert comments. Most of the time it is because they are working the farm or land. This is especially the case in the spring, summer and fall. During the winter I do see more rapid posts. It is probably because everyone is stuck inside for the winter and can't get outside to enjoy nature.
