The beautiful thing about the Brown family Farm example is that Gabe and Paul farm 5,400+ acres of commercial farmland. The biggest critics of organic approach to farming is that it doesn't work on a grand scale and that is a flat out lie. He's also not the only one. You can follow many of his talks and he mentions several.
