Think about the organic/biodynamic plant concoctions used to kill pests, suppress certain plants, etc.
Are there good books or research works on compost tea's, how to make them, what to use them for, how to use them?
i may be able to assist with direction,
For compost tea, specifically aerated compost tea (ACT), I have to agree with Tim Wilson. He is very informative in this subject, IMHO one of the leaders in that field and open with all his research and knowledge. If you ever have the pleasure of speaking with him directly, he is a master in his craft.
That being said, like him there are many that can also help broaden perspective on growing your own inoculants and the soil food web.
As for using plants and or "weeds" for pesticides ect; books id recommend is "weeds_ guardians of the soil", regenerative agriculture books, all books and resources around natural farming and biodynamics.
Some online research of the above or direct search results using the following: may help you down that rabbit hole;
Bioaccumulating plants
Green manures
ACT: aerated compost tea
CT: compost tea
MT: manure tea
FPT: fermented plant tea
FPE: fermented plant extract
IMO: indigenous mico organisms
