I have a conventional fireplace and I'm trying to find material on how to convert it either that or just convert to a rumford fireplace. If you can help me out it would be much appreciated.

Ron, if you don't have the sketchup software, please download it. This way, i could show you a few ideas.

And please, post a photo or two, so we can see the actual chimney.

Hi Ron, here's one who actualy did it, following my ideas.

Here, we never had any news from Kevin Prata.

But if you check my fourth post, you will see what i am on about.

Again the same drawing for another fireplace

This one would have been ideal to use as a bell for a rocket.

Another one we've turned around on fitting it in the existing fireplace. And finally he changed his mind.

This one from Radek, is not a fireplace retrofit.

But it is lovely.
