Gave it one more shot with no results.  This is the error message.

Okay, Then it must be something on my end causing this.  Will have to figure it out this evening if it still won't work by then.

Success!  It works when I go through Safari.

Thanks, Paul.  Love it.  Appreciate you doing this one.  Will have to listen to the rest of this when I get home from work.

Wait!  Why is it not working?  How did it not work?

I wonder if posting stuff to archive.org is a bad idea.

I have this morning available.  i need to promote the new video and the upload the next podcast and then start editing some more videos.  But all that can be shuffled around.  Call me if I can be of help.

Jack said something yesterday about adding a plugin for wordpress for podcasts.

Should I hold off on uploading the next podcast until you're ready?

Sorry I've been MIA here.  I'm about to leave home for 6 days, and the day I get back, we're closing on the purchase of a home in West Seattle.  Sooo, I've been somewhat distracted from my extracurricular permie activities. I tried logging in to the server again to set up the FTP stuff but the last password/user you sent me no longer works.

The archive.org link that you gave worked for me, too.

I don't know why that last link took forever to post on your feedburner page.  It appears that every podcast is up there now?  http://feeds.feedburner.com/PaulWheatonPermaculture

Paul and Jocelyn,  thanks again for doing this podcast.  Two quick things I immediately got out of it are, the relief for not buying the rain barrels last year, and going with the Hugelkultur.  I was tossing the Hugel bed idea around the past couple of weeks and you confirmed it for me.   I'll try not to piss off the neighbors.  Wait till we introduce the chickens...

The link still came up with the error when using firefox tonight, but had no problem with Safari.  Could only be my end, though.  Anyone else have a problem?

Al

There is gobs of technical stuff going on that I don't understand - so I am heavily dependent on kane and others for ironing out glitches.

I am moments away from uploading 006 (cast iron).  If there is anything else I should fix, I would very much like to hear about it now.

All of the problems I had with your links have been resolved with downloading Firefox 4.0.

I even checked the links for your previous podcasts that I had difficulties with, and now they all work.  If anything else comes up I will post with the error codes.

Worked this time perfectly.  Audio is a little low, at least in the beginning.  I'll listen to the rest later.   Installing a closet flange ring on the toilet waste line at the moment.  Needed a break anyway.

I got this in my email a few days ago:

Howdy,

Lisa just subscribed to your blog, paul wheaton's permaculture. This means they will be notified every time you publish a post. Congratulations.

Here is their info:

I'm being reminded by jack that I need to make sure I track everything.

One nice thing about the old blog is that on the "dashboard" it would show traffic.  I don't seem to have any way of monitoring traffic for the currently blog.  Do I need to configure something?  Maybe something needs to be installed?  Is it something I do, or should I wait for kane?

Yes it does.  I subscribed a week ago on Wordpress I believe and got updated when your podcasts were posted, if this is what you are talking about?

Please post the links to the blog if this is not it and I will check.

This is the link I realized I got a few minutes ago.  If that is it, then it works.

Oh!

I wonder why I didn't get an email.  For most of my subscription stuff I get an email.

Sometimes it has taken hours after you posted it to get the email.

I checked, and the email was sent at 12:22pm EST and I received it at 12:26.

You can judge if it was sent immediately after you posted.  Might be that they send them out a block at a time.

I think you are talking about getting your email when I post something new to the blog.

I'm asking about getting an email when somebody new subscribes to my blog.

My mistake.  No, I do not get that.  Only an email when you update it.
