Hi, I'm from the Northeast part of the US.
I'd like to tell about how I got here and what I hope to accomplish. I found this book about a $50 dollar underground house [
here ] and watched a video someone made about the author of this book [
here ] and got to permies.com. The maker of the video found the idea of having an underground house somewhat distatestful and that's his opinion. However, I _love_ the idea of living underground.
What I've always had a hard time finding is some remote corner of this country (as long as there is no permafrost under me) where I can build such a base. The base requirement is that it's somewhere cold (Montana is one option, I hate the heat/humidity) and there are no taxes on my land.
That, to me, ladies and gentlemen, would be paradise.
