Biography
I have 10 acres on which I'm trying to provide hospitable conditions for any plants the wildlife around here would find useful in order to help them during the harsh, cold, windy winters.

I'm gonna start with hugulkulture and some swales to encourage water retention and mycelium growth to improve the soil. However, I'm not sure which foods can be grown in this climate which the deer and antelope would truly appreciate. Thus, I'm looking for someone has done more than just plant clover and radishes, although I realize those are beneficial to a few of the wildlife guests as well.

Well, howdy, Miles! I do plan on attending the conference and look forward to meeting all the permies I can. Very exciting!
I'll think about starting a thread, but right now I don't feel comfortable putting pictures of my home on the Internet.
I hope to meet you in April!

Just in case either of them can't make it for any reason, please let me know. I have 15 years experience teaching, and although I don't teach permaculture, I'm very passionate about it and have been since 2005.

LoL, wine can absolutely be involved. Yes, let's start a group. Wind Warrior Permaculture. Sponsored by the fruit of the vine.

Seriously, let's set something up. Feel free to PM and I'll send my email address.

I'm in Cheyenne. Would any of you be so kind as to post links to any of the permie groups around the area?
