Hi everyone. I am a newbie mushroom grower. I have successfully inoculated blue oyster liquid culture into glass jars of wild bird seed. The jars are now fully colonized. Will the jars fruit if I put them into fruiting condition without transferring to bulk substrate?
Actually, I have been able to successfully fruit two jars. These jars were filled with bulk substrate of sawdust inoculated with the grain spawn mentioned above. I still have two 1 liter jars of unused wild bird seed, fully colonized.
Again, my question is will they fruit without being transferred to bulk substrate?
