Hi all. I keep chickens and rabbits, grow vegetables, and manage my family's food storage, and for years the record-keeping lived in spreadsheets and a stack of notebooks. So I built the app I couldn't find: Graith, an offline-first homestead app for Android. I'm the developer, and this is a beta-tester call.

It runs fully offline with no accounts, no ads, no subscription, and no analytics or telemetry of any kind. Nothing leaves your phone. Homestead data is nobody's business but yours.

What's in it right now:

Garden planning: beds, crops, companion planting, planting dates
Organic fertilizer: 16 production methods (compost, compost tea, bokashi, vermicompost, and more) with timers
Seed inventory with germination and viability tracking
Food storage and rotation, plus home preservation with canning and dehydrating guidance
Mushroom growing, soap making, small livestock records, and a battery/energy "can I run this?" calculator
Phone-to-phone sync so a household shares data with no cloud and no internet
Why I'm posting: to put it on the Play Store, Google requires a 14-day closed test with real testers. I'm looking for about 50 Android users willing to install it, poke around, and tell me what's confusing or broken. There's a one-tap bug report inside the app.

What testers get: the app free for life (it will be a $29.99 one-time purchase for everyone else, never a subscription), and a real say in what gets built next. The commitment is light: about 5 minutes to join, then keep it installed and open it a few times over two weeks.

How to join: email me at help@graith.app with the email address your phone's Play Store uses (usually a Gmail), and I'll send back the join link, a promo code so it costs you nothing, and simple step-by-step instructions. Email is the whole system on my end, so please use it rather than the forum messages here — I'd hate for someone to volunteer and sit unanswered in an inbox I don't check.

You can see more of what the app does at https://graith.app/

Android only for now. Happy to answer questions right here in the thread about what it does or how the offline and no-tracking side works. Thanks for reading.

Seriously? That's what you're going with? I prefer this tiny ad:
