Most workout programs are designed around gym goals. Homestead work asks something different from the body.

Carrying feed and water. Moving soil and firewood. Pushing wheelbarrows. Pulling hoses and gates. Lifting objects that don’t have comfortable handles. Kneeling in the garden and repeatedly getting back up.

I created HOMESTEADER STRONG as a practical eight-week functional-strength program built around those real demands.

The program includes:

• Two primary strength workouts
• A structured eight-week progression
• Household and gym equipment options
• Easier and harder exercise options
• Heavy-chore-day and reduced-session modifications
• Guidance for effort, rest and scheduling
• Exercise instructions connected to homestead tasks
• Assessments, workout logs and progress trackers
• Evidence notes and references

This isn’t about bodybuilding or turning homestead work into a competitive workout. The goal is to build useful strength for lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, grip endurance, balance and working close to the ground.

The guide is delivered as a printable and digital PDF.

Regular price: $39
Launch price: $29 with code LAUNCH10

I’d also enjoy hearing from other homesteaders: which chore or seasonal task places the greatest physical demand on you?
