I think a card set like ccg's (collectable card games) like "magic the gathering" would be more suitable.

that way not only plants but animals and even prominent people could be added, many levels of powers ect.
so the number of cards to the set could be endless.

actually speaking of the black locus, in magic cards they have the black lotus card, it's an ultra rare card that gives great power in game play, this card sells for $2500 on it's own, very powerful card indeed.

what's the chances you'll find something to grow without water that tastes any good?
I bet the indigenous people don't even eat the stuff their ascestors had too.
why would someone that's interested in growing food live in a place that's as dry as that?
i'd sell and get the hell outta there.

Borage is a good one to interplant with asparagus, is self seeds so will always come up and you can cut & drop as mulch n feed, comfrey too.
and tomatoes do well in asparagus beds, along with basil so lots of things could be going in what would otherwise be a quiet asparagus bed.

oh, well there ya go, thanks Burra..
Hi, I know this is a free forum program so there's probably limited things you can do.
but it's quite boring and hard to look at.
all that stands out is the forum topics on the left, and on the right all that stands out is 'today' 'yesterday' in bold.

I think there should be a front forum page where instead of showing every individual forum, it just list the latest posts so it's easy to keep up with current discussion, and then if you want you could click on the forums of interest and look further, but as a front page it should show current topics i think.

vbulletin is an amazing forum program, costs under $200

Yukkuri, did the seeds get to you? just picked some fresh big reds and have more seeds if they didn't, i put in new guinea beans aswell, don't know why but i feel cuxtoms might not let 'em in.

with grafting onto the rocoto, i'm guessing to cut an upright branch halfway?
I don't have capsicums at the moment so instead i'll just try a tomato, then cut the tomato branch of similar thickness, shape the tip like a flat wedge, make a slit down the rocoto stem and wedge it in?

tape it up ect and see what happens i guess..

well depends on how they valued it i guess, it's still 385 acres that they can explore, live on ect, and it does have 20ac to plant out which is still a decent size to play with.
if they came from melb' then they probably sold their 400m2 property for twice as much and can't believe they have so much land and so much spare money.

gippsland is a big area but yeah it seems over priced around there.
I don't use trains but ballarat - bendigo is where i'll be at for sure, I don't like the heat so it suits me and my plans with olives, persimmon & truffle oaks so it's a bonus being relatively cheap.
