Glad to have found your post!
Two years ago we started 4seasonsAgconsult.
To this point we have basically built two agri-ecology based farms in the Boulder, CO area. I would say maybe it seems these landowners were starting about where you are without quite the same resource, meaning much smaller acreage, installing organic and balanced conventional plant/animal programs with the aims as finances stable to head more towards the longer term vision. Last years farm saw a 60 person CSA and sales to the fine dining of Boulder, whereas this year we hear them primarily towards a wholesale market.
We are running these farms as though we are a landscaping company, in the sense of installing teams to
Maintain the install work and then moving on has been the current theme but 700 could use some real time. We are already looking at a couple farms for 2017 but I'm very interested in offering a resume/reference and speaking about your community.
The opportunity to work towards permaculture/Agro-ecology without the need "go to market" would be a large motivation for the contact.
We are a family of 4 born in the Gunnison Valley of Western Colorado who have hungry for farming for a while now. So hungry we were farming what couldn't be farmed in the chest climate in the lower 48 for almost a decade. Our exit from the Gunnison Valley and farming have been very complimentary.

Farm is conveniently located just on the outskirts of Boulder, CO

The farm is darn near a tabla rosa.
We will raise animal, annual and perennial plants, work construction, use equipment, create earthen shelter, big villages, grow seed/grain, cob ovens...sky is the limit.
We currently have a manager and mentor on staff, both of which are exceptional teachers for over 45 years in the organic ag movement.
