I'm wondering if there is anyone who makes a living helping permies find suitable land. I need advice to make sure I'm not purchasing a disaster. I'd like to find somebody knowledgeable about the legal issues, soil health, ecology, future or possible development, large scale micro-climates, and potential uses.

Thanks,
Gilbert

Gilbert-

Hello and thanks for using permies to reach out to folks in Colorado.

I run an Agricultural Consulting/Install/Maintenance company.

We have started two farms in Boulder CO in the past 18 months and would love to see about consulting for your group.

Be in touch at bouldervegetables@gmail.com

As your post here is a bit old, I look to email the website you are associated with...

Thanks

Please don't forget about water issues.
Colorado has some of the most restricted water use laws in the country.
Make certain that whoever you get is well versed on state/county water policies.

Water can be a make, or break factor on land purchases in CO.

Yeah. What he said. Totally. Wait. What? Sorry, I was looking at this tiny ad:
