Hey, everybody. Just want to quietly mention that I've stopped or significantly slowed further development of the game for now. It's fully playable with months or years of content but some features will probably still not work right, like some of the animals, which need more bug fixes. There are a couple reasons for this. First, the Claude subscription is out of my price range after two months of investment. Second, because it feels a bit like a one-sided conversation with myself since it's not growing and there isn't any dialogue about it to keep me motivated. Anyway, I hope some of you can still enjoy it.

I think I found a solution to make this an iphone game:

Do this on your iPhone:

-Open the game link in Safari (your normal browser, not a private tab). If it's already open, reload it once so it gets the new version: swipe down on the page, or tap the little circular arrow in the address bar.
-Tap the Share button. It's the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom center of the screen. If you don't see the bar, tap once near the bottom and it appears.
-A panel slides up with a list of options. Scroll down that list until you see "Add to Home Screen." Tap it.
-A small screen shows the sprout icon and the name "Deep Soil," with "Add" in the top-right corner. Tap "Add."

The only caveat is that I'm not sure the "update game" feature works and we need to test that it's saving correctly.

Ok, so I do think this is the best link to use for the game. I'll just keep updating it here. I hope you like the music updates!

"Mid" and "late" game now only offers resources if you want to explore that. Of course, I recommend doing it the regular way without the cheat. It should run parallel saves if you want to play around with it.
