I only have one plastic and one metal 55 gallon barrels and what do I do with the water, the well is near a lean to/carport

I'm paying cash from the house I sold, its in escrow now, the well was tested and very low levels of arsenic in it that can be filtered out with a whole house water system with 3 pre filters I am told

Found my property and moving after April 17th 2026

I will be inspecting a property I bought on Monday and want to know how to preform a flow test on a well. What do I use to fill up the water and where should I pour the water as I go along?

I'm in escrow now and have renters to deal with who are on the property when I test the well on Monday, they don't like the fact they have to move out in less than 30 days and I don't want to piss them off.

Feel free to message me contact info if you'd like to chat and see what could work! Should work out to significant net cost savings for you, especially if realtor involvement is minimized.

Thanks for the offer, but I have no idea how to contact you, I can only see you are in Klamath Falls, no number or contact info, and I do not own a cell. f there is messaging link here on Permies, I know nothing about it.

I looked at 3 properties last week with a realtor and had to sign just to look, that is new to me and if I can break this contract would be fine with me since I haven't heard a word from her since last Thursday.
I live in Myrtle Creek and am trying to find a place around here but am willing to move to Selma or Cave Junction since the homes are less expensive then this area
Yes I am looking in neighboring counties as well
Going to put my place up for sale soon and want to buy at least 5 acres with private well privacy utilities etc in the Southern Oregon area. I'm in Douglas County now and would like to stay but will move to nearby counties for the right place. Anyone out there selling what I need? House was evaluated by realeastae brokers at $380K so looking for one around $360K or less.

Can't run a sprinkler in the winter and hardly ever see hawks here, but thanks for the ideas

When I planted new blueberries I placed bricks half buried around each plant to protect the new root systems. Yup. They got out again. But the brick DID protect my new plants. Maybe you can do something similar?

I cannot put bricks over the bed, this particular bed is flower bulbs and those chicken tore out all the fallen leaves I cover them with for the winter and scratched the crap out around the emerging green growth from the flower bulbs.  I'm going to try to put pieces of old wire fencing on the ground along the border between us to hopefully prevent them from coming here.

There is no fence 10 years ago they said they tore down the hedge to put up a fence, that never happened and my part of the boudary goes down hill not enough soil to put in sa fence on my side, I would have to spend $ and the labor to haul in soil, not going to do that.
