stay positive, stay healthy stay strong, like everyone, I went from the city to the country, though my place is small compared to many,  its what I do that makes the difference,  and finding  the right partner, being single sure some days get tiring but face each day as it comes, anyways I'm Ontario born but ended up calling Mb home. life by the lake good fishing and fresh air. now to be open to meeting the right woman,

Well it took longer than I thought, and not as much land as I wanted but, got 3/4 acre cleared land plus 1/4 for the 2 br mobile home, camper and a couple outbuildings, enough
room an space, to grow and build a nice little mini homestead,  even the well is hooked up,  so its a full acre , 300 yards from the lake in Manitoba, right on the edge of a small village, so at
least there's a pharmacy within 30 minutes walking, now i'm open to and looking to find a single lady/friend/companion, and build together and enjoy some of what nature gave us,

ohh did I forget , got 2 apple trees, a young plum tree and lots of cranberries outback. fishing ias just a short walk away,  
so  yes I'm open minded, easygoing, and would love to talk. friendship/companions/more i'm open to discussion.

well folks, I bought my little homestead not very big but I own it and its mine, only an acre but  its got  everything I need to build a mini hobby homestead, right on the back edge of a small town and only 300 yards from lake winnipegosis,  well is hooked up, shed has it own separate brreaker panel system , so between 2 large sheds 1 corral roof  and 3/4 acres of usable land pluse the 1/4 acres the house is on, its time to build and find keep my eye out for a lady/female  companion/partner.

hi patricia aet all, well my timing was off by a couple years, i was having to be a caregiver for my mother for a little while, and now my brother and his wife have taken over the duties as she needs to live in the city now near her primary doctors,
yes i am still working on off grid, in the process of getting a 100 acres by the fall, or at least a multi acre area, and yes i am still searching for the right lady.

As my post title says I'm a single man, I love being off the grid and after several years of doing it part time, living of the land by canoe and travelling up n down the waterways solo, I think it's time to find that strong good natured open minded and outgoing woman that would love to enjoy an off grid lifestyle together,

My objective is 1 year away, with late summer this year my last short 4 week canoe run this year,  
Followed by  fall 2020 through to spring 2021 to do the final preps and purchase the land,  ( this year is all about the prep, and hoping to meet the right lady to join me) it will be raw forested/semi forested land,
 And we will be building everything together from the ground up.
 So if your a  woman that is open minded and truly thinking of living free off the land, im looking to meet/chat with you too

Hey there barb, yes I have been looking in the western Ontario region north of fort frances n east of the lake of the woods,  for myself it seems we have similar plans ideals etc, I was born in Ontario, currently in manitoba, both regions some nice properties for under 25k, well for myself it's now my to do list especially with the covid thing, going of grid n going back to country living,  well it's a pleasure to meet you n hope to get a chance to touch base
