Hello world! My name is Ben and I live with my husband in the north Dallas area. We're currently renting in a subdivision with minimal planting ability (containers only, little full sun) but saving our pennies to get out to the Ozarks or Great Smokies and find a more peaceful existence. We're both crafters and creative-types, but I'm a corporate account by day to fund those dreams.
My goal in 2022 (and beyond) is to develop more friendships and learn more everything! I'm focused on reading and soaking up what I can on permaculture (site selection is chief priority right now) as we prepare to journey away from the city. When I'm not dreaming up plans for our future land, I'm typically found in the kitchen tinkering with my latest preserves, baking something sweet and naughty, or plotting another feast.
