I like that you threw a hail mary out to the world as it is sometimes like yelling into a canyon and hearing an echo in trying to find like-minded singles in this area, especially if you're off grid or wanting to pursue off grid. I am located in NW Montana, just on the other side of the Idaho border east of Bonners Ferry. My interests are very similar to yours, especially living the homestead/off grid lifestyle but also perhaps with how I view and interact with the world as well. Currently I am caretaking an acre of land for a family friend where I garden and raise my chickens and have a few other pets. The journey to how I arrived at this place in life is an interesting story. If you are interested in chatting let me know. It is always nice to connect with fellow permies, especially ones that live nearby. Single 41, 2 young adult sons, therefore no kiddos in my future besides grandkids some day. I also have lots of skills, mostly self taught and am always learning new things.
