Hey there!
I’m a Colorado native who’s been living off-grid in the remote woods of Northern Idaho for over 4 years. I work from home, love being out here in the peace and quiet, and am building a homestead on 5 acres. My tiny house isn’t what you see on TV. It’s more of a glorified shed I’ve turned into a comfy home, but it’s mine! Simple but complete with internet for the occasional Netflix binge.

I’m a jack-of-all-trades and master of none. I’m new to homesteading, but I can get most projects to the functional stage, even if they aren’t pretty. I’m working on a garden for next year and dreaming of getting chickens, rabbits, and maybe a goat or two for lawn maintenance.

I enjoy a low key life. I’m a logical, opinionated guy with a dry sense of humor who loves a good, polite debate. I’m atheist but grew up in a very religious household, so I’ve got a good balance of open-mindedness. I lean liberal, but I’m not one to be stuck in a bubble. I love hearing all sides of the story.

In my free time, you’ll find me fishing, hiking, camping, or road tripping with my dog. I’m a simple man who enjoys cozy nights by the fire, a visit to a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, or chatting with my neighbors. The people around here are so kind. I’m living my dream here, but it’s a dream I’d love to share with someone. It’s been hard finding like-minded people out here, so hail mary it is!

If you’re semi-like-minded, enjoy a life of adventure, simplicity, and are ready to leap into the wild unknown, I’d love to hear from you. Who knows? Something crazy amazing could happen.

Child free and would like to keep it that way.

I'm not sure if I approve of this interruption. But this tiny ad checks out:
Switching from electric heat to a rocket mass heater reduces your carbon footprint as much as parking 7 cars
