We do wildlife rehab, orphaned and injured, and will use a couple acres for this purpose eventually, but we don't need all of it. What we need are good people around, just doing their own thing, no hard rules, except you must love animals, especially bears, whom you can live alongside easily, we can teach you. They're just part of the resident community. Lots of trees that need thinning, probably a woodworkers delight, great diversity. A large old terraced garden area with a pond that needs reclaiming. Ye ole Himalayan introduced blackberry is our enemy, even though delicious on pancakes, we can grow something better and less invasive. I'm thinking sheep may be our answer. Any willing shepherds about, I'll be happy to invest in guardian animals and much more, if you are willing to dedicate yourself to both land and animals. Make a clean and peaceful life privately for yourself if you want. Just no trash accumulation. Tiny houses, big backyards, and all logical permaculture tenets apply as the only rules and that's it. Off Grid. Land Share/Intentional Community, whatever you want to call it The land itself is to be left In Trust for anyone who helps. We are all volunteers here. We are the stewards.

I have a 8.5-acre patch of land in the California foothills, 30 min from Jackson, about an hour from Lake Tahoe.
I had started to set it up as a permaculture paradise, but now suddenly must move to Florida due to family commitments. Leaving at the end of the month.
Im looking for someone, or a couple who are skilled in homesteading / land use, who would like to steward my land for a year at a time, treating it like their own. The rent would be Very Minimal – and to be discussed.
This is what is on it.
A 35 foot renovated, waterproof, 5th wheel with a working bathroom ( with septic ), shower, hot water, gas cooking, and small fridge.
Internet antenna that can get up to 16 MBS.
A 600-watt solar system that provides all the power you need.
A 550 Gallon water tank that gravity feeds the trailer, The Well is 60 Gallons a minute of pure cool water.
A petrol generator
A Shed with all the tools you need.
Water lines have been put into the trailer and garden.
Four large sloped paddock areas where food could be grown / animals could be raised.
I have a garden started with four large beds.
The Land is zoned agricultural. So no worries about permits for animals and such.
Great friendly neighbors.
Jackson and Plymouth CA are less than 30 min away so commuting to work is an option if needed.
Paul’s Land rules apply to this land. No Drugs.
Having been a boot, done a course, or earned any PEP badges would all be a plus.
Please reach out to me via Purple Moosage so we can get talking.

I am on 50 acres of beautiful rolling hills in Mariposa County raising sheep and working on building food production systems.
The property does not have an actual “dwelling unit” but it does have a livable barn with basic amenities (high speed internet) and plenty of space for trailer hook ups.
I am open to holding space for an individual or couple to create their version of paradise upon agreement.
Let me know if this interest you.
