Seeking Engineer or Homesteading Consultant | Help Build a Revolutionary Honor Farm for Trafficking Survivors
Hello permies,
We’re a non-profit foundation constructing large ranch/homestead. The honor farm is a long-term refuge and skills-based program for children and survivors of human trafficking.
This land will serve as a place of rehabilitation, education, and empowerment, where participants will learn real-life farming and homesteading skills to help process trauma, gain independence, and re-enter society with strength and purpose.
We believe homesteading is today’s punk rock—a tool for self-reliance, healing, and reclaiming one’s identity. We're building something bold, raw, and real—and we need the right minds to help shape it.
We are currently seeking a qualified engineer (civil, structural, agricultural) or experienced homesteader who:
Would like to live, build, or whatever they want on ranch. We can negotiate based on qualifications.
Wants a private, peaceful living setup with land to develop
Can help design or consult on basic infrastructure: water systems, shelter, fencing, roads
May want to sit on the board, help shape the direction, or just advise as needed
Is excited about building something that will impact lives for decades
it’s a call for someone who shares the vision and wants to be part of creating something lasting.
Could be perfect situation for both of us.
We are open to negotiation on everything:
Land use
Housing setup
Involvement level (from on-call consultant to full-time co-creator)
Compensation or trade based on qualifications
We understand everyone has their own lives. We’re not looking to overload anyone with work. We’re looking for the right connection—someone who wants to live independently, make a real difference, and help build a place that teaches skills, restores purpose, and offers real freedom.
Someone who can help our organization thrive and avoid mistakes with new farm.
