Jumping in on this older post — Joseph’s methods sound incredible for anyone facing similar environmental challenges. Has anyone tried using gravity-fed irrigation like he does? I'm curious about its setup and maintenance. Also, Joseph, are you still actively sharing seeds from your garden experiments? The diversity you're cultivating seems fascinating, and I’d love to know more about it!

Jumping in on this older post because I recently discovered Khruangbin, and I've been loving their blend of psychedelic vibes and global influences. Curious if anyone else has stumbled upon them, or any similar artists you’d recommend? Let's get this musical sharing going again! 🎶

I realize this is from a while ago, but I'm curious, Magdalene, do you still use any of the skills you picked up at the bootcamp? It would be great to hear how permaculture or natural building has influenced your life after the experience. Anyone else who attended, how has the bootcamp shaped your perspective or skills in daily life?

I ran into the same headache with BMS instructions and ended up sketching my own wiring map just to keep things straight. One thing that helped me was taping the balance leads in order before plugging anything in, so nothing crossed over in the chaos. Mixing packs of different ages can work, but I always let them rest at the same voltage before tying them together to keep the BMS from fighting.

I like how hands-on this is, and one thing I found helpful in projects like this is marking each log before stacking so you’re not wrestling with heavy pieces trying to remember what goes where. I’ve also had good luck mixing a bit of chopped grass into clay for gaps since it dries with fewer cracks. Little tricks like that can save a lot of headaches once things start settling.
