Yes. Although wife said no to the paludarium so I'm going to have to revamp my plan.

So I had an idea to use my old paludarium to create an aquaponics system. My thoughts would be to stock the base with a small poopy fish (based on advice in this forum). Then I would have three descending grow trays. Water would be pumped up to the top and cascade from tray to tray until it lands back into the water. I'm thinking this would help with oxygen content in water.
The volume of the water section of the paludarium is 10 gallons( I think) and the whole thing is 18x18x36. You can look it up. It's made by Zoomed.
Advice? Adjustments or admonishments?

Breakaway collars do work. I've had them tested two ways. The first way, I woke up one morning and my cat was collarless. Eventually I found the collar caught on a nail next to the cat tree. Cat was fine so the collar did its job then. The other time, my nieces were visiting and one of the cats' collars "fell off". My guess is she tried to grab him by it. Moral of the story is the breakaway clasps do their jobs.

Regarding kitties, I have a few myself. The best idea I've seen has been putting plants inside a dog kennel or similar structure.
