That was a video on part of it and other part assists in clarifications. He also followed up with update on it. I believe that admitting it does not work exactly like many other rocket stoves shows some success in improvisational application of the methodology - that in many ways improved on the actual science.. . which I think becomes clear with more review on implementation of. (Which is why I posted it.) Of course, I have watched many times in the past as I have been working on the kilns I have built as well, and the working on formulas for different material sciences for different bricks for firing to build with. The use of the materials in kilns without bricks and the different layers for different refractory effects -conduction, holding/radiating and insulatory has inspired me toward the making of bricks for forges. . But I digress. I think the insights of what he has done here has been quite helpful to my own insights in that regard.

Sheds to houses I found other day when researching one to stay in while building a Dugout type into side of NC mountain. . or anywhere that I may end up trying to further kilns and forges creations -if not able to get land for homestead.

Guess it varies on what used to. My friend from Sierra Leonne said about colder winter here at 36N east coast that if it got that cold in his country -old people die. Then the men with no shirts on at US football games in New York state in winter, people know are from Canada(heh). From my reference 'cold' meant dropping below freezing a few times enough to damage ticks, and parasitic worms kinda thing as cold enough-

Thanks for following along!

My burn spots are very shallow pits, maybe 6-8” deep.  Just enough to hold water when I am quenching.  Deeper pits may be slightly more efficient in terms of production, but would increase labor on burn/spreading days.  I’ve got plenty of material, but only so much labor,

I am still learning how to use this thing for replies and all- I have been fantasizing about an excavator to dig for dwelling and maybe pay for itself(heh).
Anyway, I wondered if setting up the pile of dirt dug out as a berm on one side for light or wind would alter equation in positive way(?)

If they wanted somebody to move into barn and make it happen, I could see being down as worker to trade AND build. .
Still happening? Been looking around area for place to move. Want slope and stream.
If I go the route of airstream and shed, that sounds like could be mutual. I got skills building and many other things( helped people get trees out of their living rooms in Hurricane allay here much of early life. Grew much of food eaten permie by age 25 (stopped due to life). Hope to not go the route of the RV thing and if so desire is to be on plot to tear into a hillside with 56-70 grade and move in. . heh. Let me know how set-up goes. If travels across that area are conducive would be glad to visit and contribute -time and energy willing-
Is area close to and just outside a tropic of Cancer if in US (or Capricorn)? I like where the climate suits my clothes most of year and cold enough more parasites get the axe every year. .  Outside that do ya know the #1 most useful of all tools for gardening?
My suggestion is to get the ground to push with you, down and out. Start with basic Wing Chung stance as more real to build on. . .and get contact as soon as possible with a person for touch sensitivity and flow. Barefooted work in garden with hand tools is great but not if body and mind connection is not ready- - as would be counterproductive unless slow and only very brief mindful sessions a day. Just my input on stepping forward on it as modality. Breathe and watch it go. . bests!  Practice in swimming pool or with straps to wall on Bosu ball will give solid connect with al closed chains. (BTW)
