just give it a knock and its got a harder shell....also, its possibly preaching to the choir here, but spread the word that seedless watermelons are an abomination not to mention seedless dont have the full flavor and taste of a delicious seed watermelon

i mean the seeds in watermelon kill tapeworms apparently, ( which is so amazing ) so we definitely want to propagate seeded watermelons as the status quo

i pickup up about a half dozen free extuingishers after their strict use by finished up. oftentimes they are listed for free and great to have around the place, and i think would get a few more years out of them?

there are a few points id make here;

sometimes you just have to tell crazy people what they want to hear just to avoid any conflict with them as a last resort, after keeping ones mouth zipped. As with many things there may be a positive intent but its misused for malicious intentions and a control agenda which is simply outrageous and appears wildly unconstitutional.

if it comes to it id just admit defeat and if it gets escalated just say you only use it for gardening, and if they keep harassing launch a suit against them for harassment and violating your religious freedoms etc. it might seem drastic but these statist/narcissistic types feed off apathy and usually flee from offensives. sometimes you have to go on the offensive with these nosy stickybeak types and dont tolerate any kind of bullying or harassment which was unprovoked. i dont know the context or thinking in your area but if you are strategic you can find a good way to position this in your favor, which is where it should be anyway, not to mention a waste of time and possibly criminal malfeasance when they are ignoring actual serious health and safety violations and environmental disasters. just be careful though as ive heard arkansas has had a lot of corruption and good ol boy networks which you also dont want to get on the wrong side of, but at the same time play it smart and strategic but asserting your basic right to water!

i remember trying ceremonial tobacco from a hippy friend, and it was a very childlike high that ive always wanted to replicate. id definitely go down that rabbit hole. and no it wasnt the wacky tobaccky either

+1 on getting an aerator, you can also usually get low wattage aquarium filters which i rescued from a bin. they usually come with either a plastic foam filter and some are charcoal or other medium. this is your first line of defense w aquariums and they are so low power they usually can run on a small solar panel that comes with them. if it was me id setup an aquaponics tub to drain the bottom of the pond onto a bed and have that filtered water trickle back

i second that post about clove, just dont overdo it or your gut will know about it. i recently found golden /inca berries to be absolutely divine in a salad with the sour flavor, and id look at that or some lemon/orange rind grated into the apple butter. ive found amazing combos with apples include apple/cinamon with nutmeg and sultanas/raisings, and interestingly the sugars act like a kind of anti-cancer/pathogen when combined with potent medicinal spices like clove or oregano . the great thing with any citrus rind is it acts as a great preservative too

as someone who chews through shoes, including my almost worn out back sole on my birken sandals,  ive found Tevas or especially Keens seem to have the longest life. im not a fan of the feel of plastic soles so im a bit of a dag and wear socks and sandals, i know i know its so very uncool ;P)

if i was in your shoes id parlay that maintenance into rural maintenance. a good handyman is always in demand and can lead to interesting work and bigger jobs. if you get confused just write in big letters WHERE CAN I ADD VALUE? on your fridge and that is the key to any career success. we are in a changing world so with ai and the current kakostocracy imploding on itself anything aligned with new earth systems will have a future.

find a good youtube tutorial, and i find a good starter project is strengthening or adding to an old trailer. its great practice for cutting out rust/bad bits then adding extra plates or framing. start with stick and a cheap arc welder which you can snap up for about $20-$50 second hand. nothing fancy. just get yourself a good mask because you dont want to flash your eyes with sparks.  and of course read up on basics like not welding on galvanized etc and basic fume safety and slag safety. always wear safety glasses under your mask or some eye protection because slag can blind you.
