Water Hemlock grows everywhere here in Florida. That is not Water Hemlock. Water hemlock has a unique characteristic in the fact that the veins of the leaf run between the teeth and not to the point.

See this growing in dense groups under shaded areas with good soil. It has thin 1cm long hairs growing on its round stem.

See this growing in fields here in Florida, and I recently visited Michigan where it was growing as well. Its very tiny, only standing about 4".

Its very rare for them to carry it, its killed when cooked properly, and if you contracted it, its easily cureable nowadays.

In honesty your more likely to contract a tapeworm from undercooked pork.

The bark is elderberry bark. Its gotta be some sub-tropical species of elderberry.

Can I retract my "definitely"

Sorry there are not pears where I live. Looking at leaves in comparison they look more like pears.

...though...

"Another term for guavas is pera or variants thereof. It is common around the western Indian Ocean and probably derives from Spanish or Portuguese, which means "pear" " - wiki
