You know I ended up leaving all of the citruses in the garbage bags for about a year and left them in a pile. When I came back to them they decomposed quite well. There was no fungus or molds growing (anymore). They still had a sweet odor. The worms were going crazy for them.

Well I did it. I am not going to say what I did because I am not trying to plug it but I have built a company. The end goal of my company is to use profits from it to buy a big farm, which is my dream.

The mission of the company is to make products that follow permaculture principles.

I was thinking that there is no platform for others like me how are inspired to make food value-added goods and products and sell them online.

Are there any people out there like me who want to see this happen? Or who knows where it is happening?

The situation is this. I am on 5+ acres of land. The neighbors noses are no where in site. I have a ton of old pickling barrels that are 160+ liters each.

I was thinking that the bokashi method would be great for these barrels.

One thing about bokashi that I have never seen an answer for is what to do with all of the liquid from the process.

If I lock up the citrus peels with the bran in the barrels after a few weeks I will have a nice fermented mixture with plenty of lost liquid in the barrels. I know for a fact that the liquid will kill plants if put straight on the ground. Which for me at this point is a good thing. I wonder if there is a ratio of this liquid to water so that it become beneficial for plants. Anyone know? 20:1 ? 100:1?

I just got contracted to compost about 4 tons of citrus rinds per month!

That being said what would be the most effective way to compost them. I am aware of conflicting thoughts about composting citrus. I am not new to composing either.

I am merely trying to gain wisdom and perspective and I thank you for that.

We have been lovingly calling this place "Earth"

I was thinking something like "Permaculture Poland" "...for a permanent future"

what are your thoughts? I was thinking one or two colors. Greens and blues or greys I don't know.

Or maybe some phrase in Polish.

Hey Permies!

I am still in the process of drudging through bureaucracy here in Poland but in the meantime I was inspired to do some other things while I wait.

Namely a logo.

I can't draw my way out of a paper bag.

I thought to myself why go through the numerous freelance websites for a logo when I could go here first.

I am sure there are some out there in this forum that do some amazing work. Paid work for sure!

I want a logo for my farm.

I have included a pic with my thoughts about the logo concept.

I am in Poland. Poland is one of the last places in Europe that still has millions of farmers. Millions of toxic farmers none the less. I want to spread the good word of real farming. aka permaculture/biodynamic etc.

I mean BioD was born in Poland so why not plant a few seeds in modern times right?

Please email me mikeklepacz@gmail.com

Peace

Hey everyone!

I was wondering where is the best place to buy Symphytum uplandicus (Russian Comfrey) seeds? I have searched up and down to find at least a few hundred grams to one kilo and I can't find a great place. I am in Poland.

Let's have this thread be a place where we can share our business plans. No SBA referrals or anything like that. Real legit business plans. When I finish mine I will post it.

None of us are as smart as all of us and business plans aren't exactly proprietary.
