Let's have this thread be a place where we can share our business plans. No SBA referrals or anything like that. Real legit business plans. When I finish mine I will post it.

None of us are as smart as all of us and business plans aren't exactly proprietary.

As an assaignment from school I was required to create a business plan. Basically the assaignment was to provide a business plan for a piece of land that is provided. This plan needs some work and some parts are very vauge although I believe that the general Idea is clearly presented in the business plan. Many of the expenses must be cut. And I will be refining this plan further in the future. any input is appreciated.

Thanks Daniel for sharing - it really made me think of some areas that I have not considered

Im glad it has helped you. There is a lot to consider outside of this business plan also, namely the financials and attempting to determine whether or not a business venture would be profitable. A good place to start would be to find the cost of any inputs required, the amount of return from these investments, and how long it will take for your land to start producing (anything!). Right now I am quite interested in running a herd of snails. I heard that it may be the most profitable form of cattle per acre Land can be an issue therefore working out a deal with a land owner may be the way to go.

Here is another section of my business plan. The income statement. obviously this is an approximation and so the numbers are slightly off. The costs sheet is a sheet I found on the internet and may help to get an idea of market prices of some goods.

Being a smart ass beats the alternative. This tiny ad knows what I'm talking about:
