Cambodia is a beautiful and complex place. The people face many challenges, from widespread poverty to lose of jungle and a rapidly expanding population. This course will be a mixture of local khmer people and foreigers. Particiants will learn and do practical hands on applications of permaculture while developing the foundational understandings and skills necessary to create site and culturally appropriate regenerative life systems.
Course Venue
A beautiful oceanside property located in Sihanoukville, Kambuja Crossroads is comprised of several seaside bungalows with restaurant and sunset bar. Perched on a rocky headland between Ocheuteal / Serendipity Beach and Sokha Beach and resort, it possesses breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Kambuja Crossroads is currently closed for renovation, so we will have the whole place to ourselves. Surrounded with many trees Kambuja Crossroads is a tranquil spot. A small private beach for a relaxing swim, good friends for conversation, and a rock promontory for beautiful sunsets Kambuja Crossroads is an excellent place to learn, experience and grow.
Upon course completion Basic Permaculture Design Certification will be awarded
