First time poster, hello!

We are a small community on an eco-retreat on Bainbridge Island (30 minute ferry from Seattle), and we are seeking new community members. We live on 10 acres of incredible, forested land that has a rich history as a community healing space.

One end of the land is devoted to offerings for the community, and the other is a residential space. We are looking for at least one person to join the residential portion of this land. Ideally, we’d love to host someone with their own tiny home/mobile bedroom. There are shared kitchen/bathroom/living room spaces that serve as the community hubs for those of us living in shared spaces on the land. We have a thriving garden, chickens/ducks/a neighborhood goat share, and most of the land is kept in its forested state. Projects on this land abound, including various permaculture experiments, grief work, earth ritual, an emerging artist/activist residency, and more. People with project dreams encouraged! Hoping to find a good fit by September 1st. Open and excited to create community with folx of any age, any ability status, any race/national origin/orientation/gender identity, folx with kids, etc. We are justice oriented, and are trying to live fiercely, with love, close to the earth and to each other. Happy to give more details to those who are interested.

Also, as I'm new here, do let me know if this would be better in a different corner of the forum universe, or if there are other sites that would be good to post on (we already did FIC).

Thanks!

Hi Katey!

Though I am locked into housing until next August, I would be very interested if another opening were to come up in the future. Is there any way I would be able to stay connected/get updates? Just a little about me: I am 22, and just graduated with a degree in Ethnic Studies and Studio Art. These are two of my passions, but apart from art and social justice I also am looking to deepen my knowledge and love for herbalism/traditional medicine, mycology, witchcraft, queer studies, poetry (etc). Your community sounds like everything I am looking for in a future space to make home!

Peace,

Maddie Wilcox
