Does anyone have any ideas for a polyculture system for Malanga or other tropical roots?

I am planting beds of malanga in our alley cropping area. We do not have a large enough market for the okinawa spinach (at this moment), so I am on the idea of summer annuals in the humid sub-tropics.

Cassava: Bananas, pigeon pea, pineapple, tomatoes, peppers, lettuces, papaya, most fruit trees..
Malanga: Okinawa spinach, monstera deliciosa, cranberry hibiscus, pigeon pea, lettuce, spinach, maybe cucurbits, fruit trees, corn..

Any other ideas, or critiques?

Lets leave this space open for cassava, name (yam), taro, dasheen, etc..
