Helllloooo!
My family (military) just moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin from Placerville, California!  We bought in town for my husbands busy job and my nursing school 1.5 years).  We have a third acre lot in which we plan on making at least 50% edible/sustainable agriculture.  We have two dogs (one we are fostering), two kittens, 6 and 12 weeks and 8 quail, 4 weeks!  It’s a lot, but we aim to teach our kiddos about self reliance, environmental appreciation and basic life skills.   We love Green Bay, as we are originally from Way Eastern Oregon (Bend is not even close to Eastern).  We are here to find new ideas, and new information about our third acre “farm”.  I personally love agricultural anything and tend to be more natural in a sense.  My husband is just a damn work horse.  We’ve planted our first small garden, checking out what we have in our huge yard.  We are in the process of building a strawbale/cob greenhouse, all the while mitigating a rain and standing water issue.    I’m excited to have found this collective group of people!  Cheers!
