FREE RENT FOR LABOR!

Our farm is expanding again, and we cant keep up!! We currently produce livestock but our garden side of the farm needs some serious attention. We already have a 20x30 greenhouse set up we use to sell vegetable starts out of in spring, and we have some established berry's but were planning so much more. Heres the list for the next 18 months,, 2nd greenhouse, swells, hugel beds, raised beds, wicking beds, areoponic systems, hydroponic systems (kratky method) flood and drain beds, aquaponics system,  compost tea brewers, worm beds, composting bins, trellises, fruit tree nursery, plant 2 acres of food forest, and a 1 acre market garden, plant 25 fruit trees. All of that is in addition to the gardens and fruit orchards we already have. As you can see it is going to be alot of work but fun work for the right person. So were offering free rent in our 2015 big country RV on the farm in exchange for a garden manager. Your job would be designing and installing the above systems (swells and hugel beds excluded) and maintaining those systems. You would also manage the occasional hired helpers we get to complete the bigger projects, and every once in while help round up livestock or feed them for a day. Some hands on garden experience is required and least a idea of what each of these concepts are, besides that you can learn as we go. We are looking for a 1 year commitment. We offer some food and possibly extra paid work on occasion but a small income stream or willingness to pick up the occasional day labor job in town is preferred to cover your own propane use and incidentals. All supplies for the projects will be provided by the farm. Were located in NE Washington (99101) on a paved road 15 minutes from a town that's big enough to have a wal mart but small enough to be considered a small town still. Our farm is also on a year round creek and the creek area is park like so we have a great R&R spot for you between projects, the farm is 420 and pet friendly.
