We took blueberry cuttings at the beginning of June and have kept them in a smaller-sized dishpan with unscented garbage bag tied shut in shade. There is little humidity in Idaho and they need the moisture. They are doing well and for the past month I have been watering once a week with some fish fertilizer added. It is time to take them out of bag and I am not sure where to plant them. It is supposed to be 103 degrees next week.
Should I plant them in pots and set in full shade or part shade? Also, we used 50% peat moss and 50% potting mix inside the dishpan that cuttings were in. Not sure if I should use this mix in the pots they are going in?
We did another dishpan of blueberry starts using playsand and they dried out and died so that was a no-go!
