Wheels path when you mow the grass at 4”

I bough a lawnmower to be able to cut the grass at more or less 4”. Perfect, and very good for the grass, when the heat is “present”. However, does someone has an idea on how to avoid the path left from the rear' wheels? Since it is so deep, the weight of the lawnmower push the grass down as you go, and then it is already down, when you are coming back to cut it. Therefore, there is always a section that is not cut evenly.

Could you attach a pair of something like this to follow each rear wheel?

Your lawm might also be a bit thirsty. When it is not springing back (like leaving foot prints when you walk on it) that is an indication that it would like some water. Wheel tracks may still be evident on non-thirsty lawns, but they usually will stand up again when a rotary mower comes back over with all it's wind.
