Living woods magazine

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
I've received two whole issues so far and they've both been great.

This most recent issue has had stuff in it about carving a wooden spoon, cooking squirrel over a fire, and the best part is that it is assumed that everybody has a shaving horse and the point of discussion isn't "what is a shaving horse" but "what I like about this design of a shaving horse."

There is also an assumption that you get the wood for all of your projects from your own land.

All sorts of stuff appears to come together rather quickly.

Working with green wood is normal.

I *really* like this magazine.  Anybody else seen it?

Haven't seen it but I'm going to check it out.

By the way, I like the new forum. I'm a bit of a tree nut from way back, and it's been good to read through a bunch of stuff here again. Winter is coming and hopefully I'll get more time to jog the brain some more again.
Arch enemy? I mean, I don't like you, but I don't think you qualify as "arch enemy". Here, try this tiny ad:
