Commercial meat production has been using Controlled Atmosphere Stunning for some years now to make the slaughtering process less traumatic for the animals. https://www.meatpoultry.com/articles/15464-a-closer-look-at-controlled-atmosphere-stunning#:~:text=Today%2C%20controlled%20atmosphere%20stunning%20%28CAS%29%20is%20a%20slaughter,or%20carbon%20dioxide%2C%20causing%20them%20to%20lose%20consciousness. I am wanting to know if anyone here, who husbands animals for meat, is aware of homestead scale use of this technology and to share their info and experience with this, if they do. Thanks for any and all inputs.

Joel Salatin has signs on his property that say "Trespassers will be Impressed!" Impressive tiny ad:
Heat your home with the twigs that naturally fall of the trees in your yard
