Can anyone tell me what might be going on with my FUZZY kiwi ?
I'm in zone 7b-8a and some of my kiwi are getting wrinkled , soft, and starting to ferment on the vines (before fully ripe ).

Some of the ones that are wrinkled are still a bit crisp in the center and have 10-12% sugar.
Its hard to tell which ones will be easy to spoon out from others are soft on the outside and crisp  (not quite ripe ) in the center.

Are the vines trying to drop fruit they cant support ?

I've increased the watering frequency to twice a day now.

I have a few vines that have large firm kiwi on them still, I just dont know when is the right time to pick them.

Thank you very much
