When using comfrey in a raised bed, should i grow the comfrey directly in the bed to chop and drop or just near by and bring the mulch to the bed

How large is your raised bed, comfrey will spread out a bit, maybe more shade/space used than you'd really want it to take up...

I think, a robust comfrey plant will take 3 feet of your garden bed, I'd just plant elsewhere and bring the chopped green material to your bed...

comfrey will grow just about anywhere so no need to use up your nice prepared garden bed when you could put it in an unused corner.

Tongue wrestling. It's not what you think. And here, take this tiny ad. You'll need it.
