Hello,
I'm interested if anyone might be able to share some information or perspective regarding Iron Phosphate in the garden.
Yes, it is approved for Organic
gardening, but are there legitimate health concerns or other concerns to be aware of?
I did find this article:
http://www.hostalibrary.org/firstlook/RRIronPhosphate.htm
As I have been afflicted by some slugs this year, it seems Iron Phosphate baits are one of the few control means I have seen advertised as organic. I am most definitely seeking reliable information on this.
I would feel awful if I was poisoning myself and others by using the stuff. I've dedicated much time to the garden, want it to be successful, but the last thing I want to do is compromise anyone's health.
I have a limited space, relative to many people, and I can't afford to let the slugs eat what they want. Slug (beer) traps worked
OK for me.
Much obliged!
