If anyone recognizes this cane I would surely appreciate a name. It was planted by an old timer with great indigenous plant wisdom, but he died a few years ago. He planted it, according to locals, for medicinal reasons, but no one knows any details. Some here call it red cane and others call it black cane, but this doesn't seem right. It isn't sweet at all.
