Cob Live Expert

Hello,
        I am a high school teacher at Anthony Acres in Mondovi. Anthony Acres is a project-based school, and my class is very interested in creating various small buildings using natural resources obtained from our school forest. I was wondering if there was anyone who would like to come out and talk to my class about the process of using natural resources for building. Having a live expert is part of our process here at Anthony when we are working on projects. It allows the students to see how what they are learning can be used in the real world.

Ben, I am super glad you are doing that. Check out Uncle Mud. That is what I do, building things with kids. We've done treehouses, sauna, cob oven, fairy houses--all sorts of great things with seven year olds as the primary builders. Give a kiss an impact driver and it's like you gave them the car keys.
