Permies is great! I just found it yesterday and have been reading.
I thought I'd contribute my rainwater collection design.  It is the cheapest way I could figure to hook up a bunch of barrels as one integrated storage tank:

I'll be looking for a way to build a greenhouse with my barrels as the walls.  Or maybe build a bigger pond with barrels as the sides with EPDM layed on top?
