The white mould can be wiped off, but there is raised brown bumps underneath the white. These brown bumps are somewhat like legions and penetrate very shallowly under the avo's skin. The flesh is green as an avo
should be, though there is some redness in the flesh on seemingly random spots. We suspect there are worms laying their eggs under the skin, but the worms only come after the avo has fallen and has been on the ground for some time.
Some of the leaves of the avo tree have some yellow spottage on them, almost like bleach has fallen onto them. Also, there are two large staghorn ferns growing on the tree near the base. Early in the tree's life, a few branches were pruned near the base.
There hasn't been any dramatic changes in rainfall this year and the weather is quite usual.
Let me know if you have any ideas. Sorry I can't get a picture to you!
Best,
Ty
